maintaining fitness

hello! i'm 16 years old and i'm currently involved in rowing and am quite fit at the moment due to all the training ect we have been doing and i was just wondering what kind of things i should be doing if i want to maintain my fitness because we have 1 km ergo's which are the stationary ways of rowing and i would just like some advice in how i can maintain it for sure because i put myslef under a lot of pressure and make myself run everyday but i don't know if i need to and if there are other ways that are more effective! please help
