I have reactive airway disease, which is similar to asthma, and it sometimes inhibits me from doing many cardio exercises. Does anybody have any suggestions for cardio exersices that don't leave you breathless, but still produce results? Thanks!
Personally I think you should talk to your doctor about what exercise is best for you. All cardio, when you get your heartrate up, is going to leave you breathless. Maybe just low intensity, longer cardio sessions would be best for you.
Alright. When I was first diagnosed a few years ago my doctor just said take it easy and always keep your inhaler with you when doing strenuous activity. I enjoy speed walking and cross country skiing, those aren't too bad. I guess I'm just going to have to take a lot of breaks in between workouts to catch my breath. Thanks Sarah!
