I don't understand how people can be afraid of an organization that keeps getting slapped down by the courts, everywhere. 
If I had to guess I'd say because a lot of people are stupid enough to mess with the evidence (dumb dumb dumb - considering there's no such thing as proof against the defendant in this situation in the first place - the only proof against you is the indirect one of you attempting, or getting caught, obscuring the facts) and/or settle. Someone please explain to me why a sane person would settle when they could fight and win and through doing so put another nail in the coffin of intellectual tyranny (see: injustice).
