Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of veggies. I'm considering supplementing my vegetable intake with 16 ounces of low-sodium V8 per day. Is this an advisable plan of action?

it sort of counts as a vegetable... but you're missing out on the fiber part of the vegetable which is a big reason for eating the veggies to begin with - not just the vitamin part of it...

Try sneaking veggies into your foods... like a spaghetti sauce with some added veggies... or veggie pizza.... or burgers with veggies in them... there's lots of ways to disguise them.

It's been my experience with people who don't like vegetables that it's all in the preparation... I know I was terrified by canned green beans and frozen broccoli and it's only recently when going for fresh vegetables that I like them- roasted.. with lots of garlic... it's all in preparation to make the vegetable edible...

although your not getting the fiber from fresh veggies Low-sodium V8 is an excellent choice for a concentrated source of vitamins and minerals only found in those veggies. the juices of fruits and veggies are very good for you as long as thier 100% juice. juicing actually concentrates those nutrients and can in some cases be better for you than eating the actual fruit or veggie! just remember not to drink a juice that has both fruits and veggies, because it can cause some of those nutrients to not be absorbed properly by your body.
BUTI'm not advising you substitute anything:) I think maleficent has a point, if you disguise them with foods and spices its alot easier to get them into your daily diet. good luck!:D
