So I've been going low carbs the past four days, getting in under 35 g of carbs per day. I've been getting about 110 g of protein and about 70 g of fat.
I eat about 2200 calories a day, been keeping good track. I'm 6'2" and weigh 160 lbs now.
Thing is, I woke today really nauseated, and started throwing up a yellow, watery substance about 7 times.
I've done more research and learned about something called ketosis and that it is very dangerous. I've lost about 10 pounds since my last post about two months ago by counting calories and exercising, etc. But now I want to get lean, but NOT if this entails hurting myself via brain damage, death, etc.
To those who recommend low carb for cutting, should I up my carb intake to about 65 g a day? Would that be healthier?
I've been eating only cheeses, vegetables, cottage cheese, tofu, eggs, and salsa on my salads. NO breads at all.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
