Sport ***Low Carb Jump Start***

Sport Fitness
I have had success with the low carb option in the past but then returned to my old ways and gained a lot more weight.. as most people. Now, if I am as serious about my health as I think I am, then is it bad to do the low carb to "kick my rear in gear" as long as I am exercising and lifting weights? I hear that it breaks down your muscle which reduces your metabolism causing more weight gain once you get off of the diet. How will it destroy my muscle if I am consuming the protein, and lifting?

I have to do something. I am 6' and over 270.

well, as you already saw, low-carb is not a long term solution. and low carb tends to kill your energy, making you less likely to wanna workout, or get a good workout.

have you looked into carb cycling?

Thanks

Thanks for your help. I was hoping that there was an easier way. Cutting, carps is easy to figure out, but nothing worth while is easy...
