Low Carb Cardio Cycle

Hi All,

I am completely new to your forum - I started dieting just over a week ago as it was time for me to shed all the weight beer and junk food had put on me.

My Start stats where:

Age - 22
Height - 5ft 11
Weight 272lbs
BF% - 34.3%

I had my first weighing yesterday after 1 week

Age - 22
Height 5ft 11
Weight - 266lbs
BF% - 33.4%

I realised I was completly overweight and it was time to get rid before I seriously injured myself.

Anyway i wrote my own diet and excercise plan. Some of you have heard of the Atkins diet well my diet plan followed some similar guidelines to that except I cut out dairy products as well due to cholestrol and fats.

Basically i was doing about 1hr cardio every day at 6am before work and eating low carb/required protein foods.

They weight seems to be falling off now i am underway - it took me a few days to get going.

I am no where near healthy or fit but if I can help anyone in anyway to follow a similar plan then let me know. Also if anyone can offer any guidance towards to me then it will be grately appreciated.

Sounds like you're on the right track! There's no need to completely eliminate dairy though since calcium has properties that supposedly contribute to weight loss. Just switch to low or non-fat versions.
