Sport Fitness
Peanut butter is my favorite food..I love it.
i live near a pb factory so im constantly smelling/craving it
but problem is peanut butter has more cals then anything ive ever seen before...maybe not salad dressing but still...

I keep hearing how healthy it is...
i dont care if they take away all the proteins,fats,w/e...I just want a low cal pb that still taste like pb...no luck...

I found 25% reduced fat,it still had same cals though o_O

Ha, ha, ha that's funny. But anyway, natural PB is healthy calories. Why not just make sure it fits in your diet/goals? How much do you want to eat? I eat quite a bit of PB every day as it's one of my main sources of fat.

peanut butter is fat
fat has more calories per gram than protein or carbs

thus, peanut butter is a higher calorie food (ALL nuts are in fact) due to the fat content.
and its fat you want...so 'reduced fat' peanut butter is not that great for you, since they remove fat and replace it with high fructose corn syrup so it has the correct texture.

100% natural peanut butter (ingredients: Peanuts, salt)

Love it.

The best peanut butter I've found is Smuckers. It's cheap and very good. The ingredients should only read, "peanuts" and maybe salt.

I've found low calories, reduced fat, etc all have added chemicals in it. I don't think it would be wise to use those. As stated, peanut butter is healthy calories, so if you want some, go ahead and make some.

Best peanut butter out there!!

I mix a de-fatted peanut butter or peanut butter flour with my regular PB just so I can get a little more bang for my peanut buck. Still fat is fat and you just aren't going to get much.

I am going to Whole Foods this week to make my own PB. Same price as Smuckers, but my grocery was out of the regular creamy today. Im becoming increasingly disappointed with them every visit.

Always out of Calorie Countdown and 3lb ground turkey boxes. Assholes.

Where do you buy the peanut flour (so to speak) from?
