Lost 100 lbs and relapsed, am I starving myself?

Hey all, so a few years back I lost over 100 lbs and wen from around 270 to 165 lbs. Now I'm back up to 210 (although with significantly more muscle), mostly due to focusing on other aspects of my life such as work, relationships, etc.

Long story short: I'm a little rusty in the game of weight loss. I'm eating roughly 1800 calories a day to try and stay within -500 of my BMR, and I'm working out daily, but my weight just won't budge. The last time this happened, I found out I was actually starving my body.

So should I factor in my exercise into how many calories I consume? Say I burn 500 calories on the treadmill, should I then eat 2300 calories that day so that I level out at 1800 calories?

How does this work again?!

Just try some change in the calorie intake, change the eating habits. Now your body won't adapt the eating habits which will make you lose weight.

Do you keep a food journal? I read somewhere that people under-estimate the amount that they are eating. Everything should be measured, at least in the beginning, until you are completely confident with weights and amounts of food. And try to "eat clean". And the eat several little meals a day!
