should i have lost much fitness in 2 weeks of from running because of injury? ive been swimming so i thought this would offset this but running yesterday felt really hard.
I had a big 2 week Lull a little while ago and even with that small amount, I found it hard to get back into a 5-6 day routine. Even on the 4th day my body was screaming at me during my cycle class. But yeah, it's good that you did the swimming. Ease back into it, it won't take long.
I know exactly what you mean, Ive syffered 2 separate injuroes one after another and its kept me away from running for 3 weeks now. Although ive been able to do a little light cardio on a x trainer it just doesnt match up to hitting the miles on the open road. Take it slow getting back into your training as the last thing you would want is another injury to keep you away from trasining for another week or two!
yeah but you'll get it back. I mean I had glangiar fever (not sure on spelling) for a year, couldn't do anything. But then I got back into training, started slow and built up to six months later sprinting (on the bike) with my HRM reaching 206 before jumping off the bike and goign for a 5km run. So you'll do fine
