Losing weight with a "physical" disability

Hi I am Gai,

Over the last 5 years ive gained a lot of weight.
I regularly lifted weights and was in decent shape, a bit fat but quite strong.
It started when i blacked out while excercising.
After that ive had chronic headaches that gets much much worse when i build any sort of pressure in my body.
Im not here to discuss my headaches, ive been to every specialist you can imagine.

Anyway, in those 5 years ive taken a huge amount of painkillers just to get by and ive gotten very lazy.
Depressed and all that.

But ive limited myself to one day of painkillers now, and pain the other 6 days.
I want to lose weight now.

Age and sex: 31, male
Weight 160kg 350lb
Height 184cm, 6ft
Bodyfat % i dont know

So far the only things i can do without too much pain is walking, which is boring. Slightly less boring with audiobooks (id love recommendations: sci fi and fantasy).

Its better to list things i cant do i suppose:
Cant lift or run (too much pressure that becomes pain)
Cant ride a bicycle (i have major prostate issues, so cant even sit down for a second)
Cant swim (closest pool is a 2h drive one way)

So is there just walking and diet change left for me? I dont mind a diet change as i am a lover of food.

Welcome to the forum :)

While exercise is great for general health and maintaining muscle mass during calorie deficit, it is not needed for weight loss, the key to weight loss is diet.

With so much to loose muscle loss will be minimal at this stage.

What does your current diet consist of and do you track your nutrient intake ?

While knowing bodyfat % helps to calculate your required dietary intake much more accurately, you should still be able to loose reasonably quickly in the initial stages with some basic diet changes.

Thank you.

I dont track nutrient intake at all, never have.

Breakfast/Lunch:
Whole wheat bread with lunch meats, usually; cheese, ham and cucumber (sometimes bell pepper also).
Salted crackers and brie, camembert and blue cheese.

Dinners:
Taco, pizza, hotdogs in potatoe/wheat tortillas (norwegian way of eating it), meat balls with potatoes and brown sauce,
beef stew with rice, chicken and rice, pad mee leung (egg noodles, veggies and rice).

Not a lot of veggies at all.

Also i usually only eat about 2 meals a day. And then sometimes 1 meal and then 4 meals.
I also snack about every other day. Usually eat two pudding cups, bag of crisps, 200g chocolate bar. Just one of those three, not all the same day.

Drinks:
Up untill this Monday i drank about 1.5-2l of sugar free soda a day, the kind sweetened with aspartam. I stopped because it makes me fart.
Now ive started to drink 1l of ice tea(25 kcal pr 100ml) and 1l limonade(53 kcal pr 100ml) a day instead.

I also drink about 1-2l of 40% or 80 proof rum or vodka every other week and about 15-20 beers (less beer if 2l, more beer if 1l of booze)
So i drink alcohol one week and the next week i dont.

I drink to reduce the pain i have. Doesnt matter to me what i drink, so less caloric alternatives are welcome.

I think thats as accurate i can get. I eat and drink other stuff as well, but this is 90% of what i consume.
