Hi Everybody! Newbie here...
Has anybody used dance to lose weight? I've been through tae-bo (worked great), jumping rope (worked WONDERFULLY but killed my knees) and jogging in place (too boring for me to keep up). Anyway, I've taken up salsa and have heard good things from other dancers about the weight they've lost.
At the very least over the last two months, I've built up some great leg muscles and have noticed my midsection slimming and hips smoothing drastically. Has anyone else had success with it? I know dancing can burn some serious calories and help maintain good muscle tone. I'm hoping this will be a form of "exercise" that I can add to my life that's not so much of a routine.
