I work for a lady who is in a wheelchair.. she has muscular distrophy. She is wondering if there is any way she can possibly loose weight. I am guessing she is between 250 - 280 lbs... I guess that because I lift her and transfer her from her wheel chair to the toilet and tub and bed.. etc.

Does anyone know anything she could be doing to loose weight? I know this is a very hard case, but she is intrested in any suggestions people could give.

Thank you :)

Hi Avi2Kat!! :)

There is a program that I have personally used, it's through 'Cohen's Lifestyle Clinic'. - Australian site
- American site

I mention this program as it prefers the person not excercise, which would be ideal for the person you are carer to.

It is a rapid weightloss program with REAL food, just weighed & strictly regulating the types of foods you are allowed to eat.

Please check out the forum ... it's all about Cohen's, the many girls on there are VERY helpful as they can tell you exactly what it's like - they are going through the program right now. :)

All the best! XX :)
