Losing the last 10 pounds - any advice

Hi,
I've been losing weight for 8 months. I started in June 2006 weighing 160 pounds. For the first 3-4 months I started doing about 30-45 minutes of cardio daily and quit eating junk food, fried food, candy, cookies, sodas, etc. My daily calorie intake was about 1500 then. As I lost weight I continued lowering my calorie intake. For the following 4 months or so it was around 1000-1200 and I extended my cardio sessions to 60 min per day.

The result: general tiredness and losing about 2 pounds in the last month. I want to lose another 10 pounds, but it's clear to me that I need to change what I've been doing.

I'm now trying to bump the calories up gradually. I've also been doing 30 min of cardio instead of an hour daily and some strength training. Any advice on what to do/change/stop doing to reduce my body fat % and shed a few more pounds. I'm open to suggestions.

I just posted it into another thread.

How long have you been doing the biking? What intensity do you use? What kind of bodyweight exercises are you doing?

Hey! Sounds like you have hit a plateau! This happens when your body gets too used to what you have been doing. Just switch up some things. Add a little more(and different) workouts. Eat something bad! hehe! You have come a long way! Congrats! I'm only 4'11 and my goal is 100-105 too! I know you can do it, I'm sure you already look great! You have done so wonderful..and remember the more muscle you have, the more fat you will burn. So weight training(like you started doing) is great.
Have an awesome day.

try doing a competition with friends and family. There are sites out there to help you get them organized and the contenstants can all weighin on the site.

I'm interested in learning this too as I weight just two pounds more than you (118) and want to reach 100-105 pounds as well.
