Losing it ...

My mind as well as the weight ... lol ....

Well, I have been lurking for ages and I thought it might be a good idea to start a diary to get some help and advice from all you great people. I can't complain too much though because I have dropped around 4 pounds in the past 2 weeks...

Yesterday wasn't a wonderful day in terms of food but not bad either...

B: Bowl of whole wheat cereal with skim milk (usually have eggs but ran out yesterday)
L: Had ham and goat cheese (Business lunch at a french restuarant..nice place and they have a brilliant salmon salad - which I had the day before lol)
D: Grilled chicken and a large tomato + 1 wasa crispbread (light) with eggplant salad (about 2 tablespoons)
S: 1 wasa crispbread + 2 tablespoons eggplant salad

Didn't get a workout in but my excercise week has been as follows:
Monday - 30 mins HIIT on stationary bike
Tuesday - Gym - upper body for about 1 hr 15mins and 40 mins stationary bike
Wednesday - Gym - Abs for about 1 hour - 45 mins stationary bike
Thursday - 45 mins stationary bike at home
Friday - Nothing (lazy ass)
Saturday - On my way to the gym now to do lower body
Sunday - Going to the gym to do lower body and may get some yoga in as well later on for flexibility

Today breakfast has been 3 oz of grilled chicken (I am dumping carbs for 3 days and then going to do a day of carb load - I am curious to see what will happen)

K... gotta hit the road and get my rear into gear... I wallow in my gym addiction :D :D Psychosis is not far (did I mention that I am insane ;) :D )

Glad you are out of lurking! Good start to your journal. Do you typically only eat 4 times a day?

A gym addiction is a good type of addiction!

Sarah, I generally try to get 5 meals in but work can get in the way...

Yesterday I had 3 oz of grilled chicken for breakfast, 12 oz chicken breast for lunch, 6 oz of lean pork (grilled) for dinner...

Went to the gym as planned and worked my lower body ... doing supersets at the moment... My trainer thinks that is what will get the best results for me at the moment... I do a combo of machines and free weights and finish off with about 15 minutes of mobility work...

Today I have had about 3 oz of pork (this morning), 6 oz chicken and 6 oz pork for lunch and will have about 6 oz of grilled chicken for dindins...

Been to the gym and did chest and back which means will be working biceps, triceps and shoulders on the morrow....

Didn't get much cardio in though so I will do around 35 mins of stationary bike later...
