losing around 50 or more pounds

Hello everyone I need some help and I know little about weight loss I hope I can learn on this forum,

My BMR is 2980

How much weight could I lose by mid June?

Would it be crazy to say I could lose 40-50 pounds or conservative?

If I take 500 calories off of my normal diet and excersize and lose 500 cals I am not sure if I did my math wrong but I could lose about 40-50 pounds by june
would it be unhealthy to burn more than 500 calories a day excerizing? I will be eating around 2000 calories daily

about 2.5 a week or would i lose more weight I also read that larger people lose weight faster than skinnier people and im pretty large I weigh 267 pounds

thanks in advance for answers and advice lots of questions I want to better myself and get healthier
 
Safe weight loss is usually estimated at 1-2lbs per week (you will lose a bit more in the beginning because of your weight). I think 30-40 pounds is very possible by June if you are smart about it. For your calories though I wouldn't go much lower than 2500-2600 a day, and burning 500 calories a day exercising is a hard thing to keep up, it's a good 45mins-1hr of cardio, you could do half that a day and still be doing great. The majority of your deficit should come from your diet anyways. I think you can do it as long as you are flexible and don't overdo it in the beginning.

500kcal a day off your diet is the equivallent of 1lb a week so you should be looking to lose about 20lbs from dieting, but remember as your weight goes down so does you bmr. You also need to get some exercise in there and could maybe look at doing some high intensity interval training (hiit)
 
I was about your size, a bit heavier, and lost 60 lb in the first 6 months. I was eating about 1600 or 1700 calories per day in that period without getting extremely hungry. I didn't do an extreme amount of exercise. I walked about an hour per day, and it wasn't even very brisk walking.

Yes, you can afford to lose weight faster, the more obese you are, and I think you can easily lose the weight by June.
 
I would go for fat binders or appetite suppressants, because they are natural and you can lose your weight instantly, about 5lbs per week.
My friends were using fat binders and they lose about 3lbs per week!
 
5lbs a week will not be fat and the majority of it will be muscle though as that is a calorie deficit of 2500 kcal per day and the body will be in starvation mode as a result. Any weight lost like this will only go straight back after not very long. This sort of weight loss is a recipie for yo yo dieting and is not sustainable.
