I'm a 16 year old male, I'm pretty lean (145 pounds and ~6' tall), and throughout my life have eaten a large amount of food compared to the rest of my family. I would eat a large bowl of whole wheat cereal with two eggs, a banana, and orange juice, or something like that for breakfast, a medium/large lunch and dinner, and smaller meals throughout the day (especially between lunch and dinner, and between dinner and the time I go to sleep - sometimes as large as my dinner). I exercise a lot (I did sports and endurance/cardio training nearly all of my life, and I've been lifting weights too for the past year). I eat fairly healthy food, including a variety of fruits and vegetables every day.
However, within the past few days my appetite has decreased. My breakfast has been a little smaller, but my lunch and dinner have been a lot smaller, and I haven't felt like snacking much before or after dinner. Also, before then, there were a lot of times within the past few weeks that I overate in a meal due to a number of reasons (eating a bunch, then getting invited to somebody else's house to have dinner and not wanting to waste the food, etc.), and maybe that has something to do with it.
Does anybody have any ideas as to why this is happening? Has this ever happened to anybody else? I don't really like the feeling of having a decreased appetite. Thanks
