I have come across many people on weight programs that just literally give up eating in order to loss weight. A lot of people using these sorts of programs of not eating anything don't realise how damaging they could be. A lot of people start this type of program and start to not eat anything all day and what tends to happen is that, yes you probably start to lose some weight but the weight you are losing is not fat. The weight you are losing is your lean body fat, the important fat. Your muscles get weak; your bones start to lose their density. You body starts to function incorrectly. I think most of us know that muscle weighs more than fat. This is the weight you are losing when you chose to go on such a program. Once you start to get to this stage your body starts to produce certain enzymes and when you do eat something the enzymes automatically turn that food to fat. Causing you to gain weight even though you are eating a tiny amount of food every day.
Obviously you get weaker and weaker and your metabolism starts to slow down because your body is not functioning properly.

It is such a good quality program, you get a personal mentor that makes sure you are taking the products correctly, getting the results you desire and also maintain your desired result.

Do not under estimate the power of protein. In order to lose weight your body needs to be functioning correctly. You need to be getting all the necessary vitamins and minerals daily; you need to be getting good nutrition every day. You need to increase your lean body fat, which raises your metabolism in order to burn fat away. Using a high protein program with all the necessary vitamins and minerals I think is the best way to lose weight. The more protein your body gets the more weight you will shed.

thankfully I haven't met anybody who still thinks that not eating will help you lose weight. The program you used sounds interesting, but to get the full picture I would like to hear a little more. How much weight did you lose, how long did it take and what are these products? I am very suspicious of any kind of drug to begin with. I visited the site, but without signing up you don't get any information on what it is.
It states that there is a maintenance program as well, once you lost the weight you want, does that mean that once you started the program, you will forever have to take that product...whatever it is...sounds to me a lot like Herbalife.
 
Great advice, Don. Very-low calorie dieting is a great option, and indeed is the best option for the morbidly obese, but without regard to what you're eating, and without medical supervision, you might as well be trying to give yourself a gastric bypass operation! :eek:

I lost my 100 pounds on a medically-supervised, very-low calorie diet (see my web page for the whole story, if you're really interested), and am living a real, happy, vibrant life now. The program's products are great: High in protein, low in sugar. However, I found product that are even healthier IMHO, and use those instead now that I'm no longer in the program. And, of course, the products are only strategic tools I use for convenience; most of what I eat now is just plain regular food, fruits and vegetables, lean meat and fish. However, I would never spite myself by cutting myself off from whatever assistance wonderful advances in food science provide, such as meal replacement entrees, shakes, snacks, and desserts.

Nowadays many people are body concious everyone wants to have a good health and better yet to stay fit and be in good shape. People nowadays tends to go for more exercise to be fit and have a good strong health. Whether the inold or young, we now more careful about the food we eat. The most common vitamins famous nowaday are vitmins made from herbal.
On the other hand, the most common problem that we find difficult to eliminate is the excess fat which we normally call “belly fat”, which is common problem faced by teenagers, young or middle aged women and men. Even myself, I start to have an excess belly fat therefore I have to make sure I exercise contantly to keep my body in good shape. My opinions, there are three steps that I would like to introduce to keep your body in a good shape.
First of all every time that you eat your meal reduce the quantity of your food. Particularly in the evening, you should eat less because you do not exercise or have any activities in the night time. Of course, your body can’t digest efficiently than you eat in the morning and in the afternoon. After breakfast and lunch times, we always have something to do such as, walks, shopping, working, studying, play sport and etc.
Second, always eat food that are healthy for your body. You should try to avoid eating fatty food and too much carbohydrate because these will give your body an high choresterol. For example, pizza, junk food, pork, cakes, pastries are some of the food that you avoid eating. It is always best when you eat a lot of vegatagles because it helps digest the food and also eat a lot of fruits. It gives your body the vitamins that it requires.
Finally, you need to exercise everyday, at least 30 minutes a day to keep your body healthy and in a good shape. By going fitness, sit up, running, swimming, etc.
In conclusion, many years ago, most people do not care much about their health, but as the years goes by, people start to realize the importantance of having a good health and to be physically fit. At present, most people are diet concious and are now very careful with the type of food they take daily. It is very difficult to maintain a good and healthy body, but, it is always worthy disciplining ourselves, after all no price in the whole world can buy a GOOD HEALTH!
