Now, the single most effective way to lose abdominal fat fast is to SERIOUSLY increase your water intake! Yes, I know you've heard this before, but did you know the following:

A.) You need to drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces each day... and not that "8 glasses a day" stuff you hear so much. So, if you weigh 140 pounds, you should drink 70 ounces.

Regardless of the fact that I want to call shenanigans on most of that, I had to comment on one line:

I just can't take any "diet tip" I've also read on a Pro-Ana website seriously. I did those kinds of things for to long.
 
1) We already know you can't spot reduce fat so there is no way to lose abdominal fat outside surgery cutting it out.

2) Anytime I see the words lose fat fast, I smell trouble. Weight loss is a slow path that takes effort, information and determination.

3) Saying you need to eat a proper diet is akin to reminding to breath. Yes, you should be eating a balanced diet that addresses your needs. Many doctors say you should take a multi to help balance. It's sound advice overall cause when you cut things out, it's not always all the bad things only.

4) Statement 2 is basicly saying itself both forwards and backwards. You don't need a probram to naturally boost your metabolism to lose weight. This leads into..

5) The single most effective way to lose weight isn't drinking water (warm, hot, cold or icy). It is eating less calories. Yes, when the body doesn't have enough fuel, it gets it from your body. There is no other way for the body to get energy other than these two sources. It's either added by food or you already have it stored. When you lose weight due to this, your body is taking muscle and fat. Extra protein helps keep the muscle loss down.

For the sake of simplicity, he didn’t take thermodynamics into account, which would change the numbers very slightly.

You have an 8-ounce glass of ice-cold water in front of you. That’s about 240 grams of water.

When you drink the ice water, which is roughly 4 degrees Celsius, your body will expend calories to bring it to body temperature, which is about 37.5 degrees Celsius; that’s a difference of 33.5 degrees. To raise 1 gram of water 1 degree Celsius, 1 calorie is expended. (This is a “little” calorie—what scientists use to measure small units of energy. The calories we refer to colloquially are actually 1,000 of these and are known as kilocalories in the science world.)

Raising 240 grams of water by 33.5 degrees Celsius will take 33.5 calories x 240 grams of water, which equals 8,040 little calories.

Dividing 8,040 by 1,000 gives us 8.04 food calories (kilocalories). Therefore, you’ll burn about 8 calories for each glass of iced calorie-free beverage you drink. That’s equal to about one Life Saver: not exactly a weight-loss miracle.

Using Clemens’s figures, it would take about 435 8-ounce glasses of ice water to lose a pound.

And do we have to tell you? Consuming large quantities of cold water can have serious health effects, such as an overall lowering of body temperature, a decrease in the functionality of the gastrointestinal tract, and, in extreme cases, anemia. Drinking a lot of water can also lead to water intoxication.
 
Why do people think there is a magic pill or secret amount of water to drink or if you hold your head upside down while you fart .... to loose the fat mysteriously faster and better than normal?
