Hi!
Alas, I eventually got promoted to an office job after working outside, and some of the weight I lost earlier came back over the last few years. I'm back up to 156 pounds (at least I decided to stop there!). When I worked outside, I was getting exercise and bringing healthy foods for lunch. Working in the office, I sit at my desk all day and use my lunch hour to eat at fast-food restaurants. I began earlier this week to stop this once and for all. I've started walking/running at lunch time. Our office has a couple of showers, so I can get sweaty. I started bringing yogurt, peanuts, raisins, and fruit to work for lunch and snacks, and I'm making healthier choices at supper time. I'm usually good at having oatmeal with raisins and some O.J. at breakfast, I just have to keep my evening meal under control. I've done it before, so I know I can do it again. I plan to run/walk at least every other day, and do my Winsor Pilates dvd three times a week (Pilates really do work to flatten that tummy). I'd also like to fit in a couple of workouts on the weight machine every week. I'm motivated now. My problem is just getting myself moving and staying motivated. I want to be healthy and strong and not end up like my parents, who have health problems from not taking care of themselves.
