Loosing Belly Fat

Hi,

I have been working towards reducing my weight. I go to the gym 4-5 times a week. I am a vegetarian and on a high protein, high fiber diet. I have significantly reduced oil, butter and sugar from my diet. I am able to reduce 10 pounds in last 2 months but the problem I am facing is although I have lost weight the fat is not going away from the belly area, side burns and back burns. This makes my body shape like a inverted V. I would like to know any suggestion people have on how do I reduce the fat from the belly area, side burns and back burns. Do I need to make any changes in my diet or in the gym? I would appreciate your help!

Thanks,
Mannbk

You did not mention anything about your numbers. Weight, height, age?

It seems that you are on the right track. Working out 4-5 times a week, losing 10 pounds in 2 months, high protein diet, low sugar and fat consumption. All what you are doing is perfect.

As I mentioned your numbers will indicate if you are overweight or not. My suggestion is to give it more time and to concentrate on weight training to lose fat and build your muscles. Multi joint exercises that involve many body parts (like squats and deadlifts) have very good effect in indirectly sculpting your abs.
