Looking tired/haggard after weight loss

Hi,

I'm a 26 year old who is 5'5''. When I recently lost weight from about 145 to 130, I started to look very tired and my skin almost looked saggy. I noticed this mostly in my face but also some in my body. I liked being thinner, but didn't like looking so worn out and

'depleated.' I have since gained most of the weight back and noticed the drawn look went away. Is there any way to avoid this when losing weight, and has anyone else experienced this? Is this maybe an indication that I am below my set point, or does it have to do with the way or quickness of how I lost the weight? Another possible factor is that I have had a lot of weight fluctuations in the past.

What method are you using to lose weight?

I mostly cut back on calories and tried to eat healthy. I went from probably 2500 calories per day to 1500-1800, with a lot less sugar and fat. I also added a lot of exercise. Before I hadn't exercised much, but I started working out every day. I did at least 30 minutes cardio and then went to pilates, yoga, or group exercise classes 5-6 times per week.

Nothing there sounds excessive so find out your body fat percentage (calipers or electrical resistance), should tell you how much more you can safely lose.

Make sure you drink plenty of water, could be dehydration causing that look.

Suppose you could try exercising your facial muscles, any development should help to offset local fat lose.
