I am glad that I found this sight because I know that what I really need to lose the extra weight is the support of people like you who are most likely going through the same experiences.
I am a first time mom of a nine month old beautiful baby girl who is worth every pound gained. That being said, now that she is a healthy happy little person, I would also like to be a healthy happy LITTLE person.
When I got pregnant I was 150 pounds, but quite muscular and wore a size 10 pants. This was okay with me, however, I probably could have used to lose another 10 pounds. Pregnancy put another 45-50 pounds on me. I am now down to 168, but would like to be at 150 or 145 realistically speaking.
I have been walking approx. 1 and 1/2 hours per day and have been trying to stick to a 1200 calorie per day diet. This seems to work when I truely follow it, however, my main problem is that I will be good for a few days, then I will be naughty and binge on high calorie/high fat stuff. NOT GOOD. It seems like in those moments, I loose sight of my goals, and self respect, and just indulge myself. I feel guilty after as well, which does not help.
I am looking for some support and some stories to let me know that I am not alone.
