I'm new to all of this, and I'm really doing this for my mom. She's overweight for her height, and has been so since the birth of my younger sister (over 10 years ago). She constantly tries new diet plans, and did some of the established ones (ie: Jenny Craig, NutriSystem). However, each time, she ended up giving up because they didn't give the returns they promised.
Before, it didn't seem as pressing, but now, there are a lot of health issues coming with age. She recently got high blood pressure, and her knee has been acting up. A lot of issues stem from her job, actually, since she is a Pharmacist, and has to spend hours standing up, leaving her too exhausted to exercise or prepare healthier food options for herself.
She's really starting to give up on herself, and I would really appreciate any kind of advice or useful websites that could help us know what kind of plan to make, especially with the issues of her knee pain and general exhaustion.
