So to start with, I never really had a problem with weight until I got married, then I put in 30 lbs. I would love to lose all of it, but I may not because I was quite anemic when I married and my hubbie is a big meat eater so that put on some healthy weight. So I've never really had to lose more than a lb or two.... I usually do about the same as you, cut down on junk food, watch my calorie intake, drink lots of water. Recently I was introduced to counting my Macros, so i have been trying that. I need more protein. I also have been attempting to get out every morning and go for a brisk walk with some running. My sister is a runner and loves it and I believe I would too so I'm venturing into that world. Just getting myself out of bed before work and disciplining myself to go exercise has already been good for me.
I am 26, from Canada but living in the USA, 188 lbs (86 kg) and 5 foot, 6 inches (168 cm). I also love to read, was major bookworm as a child but don't have the time these days. And who doesn't love sleeping? Lol. Hence my struggle to get up in the mornings and get out there for some cardio. Games are also my thing and i sometimes drive my hubbie crazy by being glued to either my laptop or my tablet lol. I am a small towner hoping to end up out in the country eventually with lots of wide open space and animals. As of right now, my one and only snuffly friend is a hedgehog named Clover. I like to sketch and paint, journal and I dabbled a little in short stories but got discouraged when nobody would publish me. But I wrote quite a few poems as a teen. Now I am more into putting my creative skills on canvas or in my journal.
