Looking for an 'Accountability' partner

I tend to get discouraged trying to lose weight on my own, so i decided to join a forum. And joining a forum is no help if i dont find a group of people that i can jump in with and be accountable to!:) So i am hoping to find such a group, or even a buddy, to help me stay on track and have a little healthy competition with. I am looking to lose 30 pounds and have started my macro counting and morning cardio, but haven't seen results yet as I just started this week. Anyone with me?:)

I have 30kg to loose but ditched the idea of counting because I use it so much to procrastrinate.
Are you looking for a tread, pivatemessages or maybe Whatsapp(easy base to comunicate throughout the day).
 
Hi Reba I am the same and I have just started a One Day Challenge. I find i get all fired up to loose weight, go to the supermarket to prepare for the coming week, plan meals etc.. then i just get overwhelmed and give up. So i though what if i just commit to 1 day of healthy eating at a time don't even think about anything further than 1 day at a time. So I started the [Deleted] page to pledge it publicly. i am only on day four but t is working so far why don't you join me ? Cheers Imogen

You answered! I would love to write a little with you and see if we fit together. Then exchange numbers. In a private chat of course.

So how do you try to loose your weight?
I try to slowly get away from unhealthy foods and snacks. I am an emotional binge eater. And sometimes really lazy.
But I love veggies. Fruit not so much. But I could eat loads of corn, beans, peas, carrots, brokkoli and such. As long as it fits the students budget.
I also try to go to a functional strength sports class 3 times a week for 30 mins. As soon as I feel a little fitter and my ankle is better I want to try and run once or twice a week to add that extra cardio. Also I watch my steps loosely with my FitBit.

What kind of stuff do you like? Who are you?
I am 26, 89kg, 162cm. University student from Germany (Berlin time)
I love to sleep and like to read, to play games (tabletop or on a console/PC) and everything fom the Fantasy Gerne if book or TV.
I do enjoy the outdoors but since I live in a city I don't have it that much. Soon I will start my walks in the botanical garden again.
I love sarcasm and bad puns. ( I do not use them but I love to hear them)
Really am not that interesting. But I think I am creative since I enjoy to write poems and short stories.

And here thought you'd given up on me! Lol your reply didnt go to my email so im glad i came back on this forum to see if YOU had replied!

So to start with, I never really had a problem with weight until I got married, then I put in 30 lbs. I would love to lose all of it, but I may not because I was quite anemic when I married and my hubbie is a big meat eater so that put on some healthy weight. So I've never really had to lose more than a lb or two.... I usually do about the same as you, cut down on junk food, watch my calorie intake, drink lots of water. Recently I was introduced to counting my Macros, so i have been trying that. I need more protein. I also have been attempting to get out every morning and go for a brisk walk with some running. My sister is a runner and loves it and I believe I would too so I'm venturing into that world. Just getting myself out of bed before work and disciplining myself to go exercise has already been good for me.

I am 26, from Canada but living in the USA, 188 lbs (86 kg) and 5 foot, 6 inches (168 cm). I also love to read, was major bookworm as a child but don't have the time these days. And who doesn't love sleeping? Lol. Hence my struggle to get up in the mornings and get out there for some cardio. Games are also my thing and i sometimes drive my hubbie crazy by being glued to either my laptop or my tablet lol. I am a small towner hoping to end up out in the country eventually with lots of wide open space and animals. As of right now, my one and only snuffly friend is a hedgehog named Clover. I like to sketch and paint, journal and I dabbled a little in short stories but got discouraged when nobody would publish me. But I wrote quite a few poems as a teen. Now I am more into putting my creative skills on canvas or in my journal.

Wow, we have a 9 hour difference between us.
That means You get up, when I am starting to prepare Dinner and I get up, when yo probably just went to bed.

This means I can easily contact you in your morning and see if you got outside for that walk/run, while you have about until noon to ask about my day. Luckily I will often do my exercises in the evening. So actually sometimes we will exercise at the same time (just on the other side of the planet).

If I am not mistaken, that would be a great match.
Also we share some creaticity (I never really learned how to draw, but I still try sometimes) and our age. also I really want to know how you ot into possession of a hedgehog.^^

Are you interested in exchanging numbers? I really want a pic of Clover.
 
I am definitely interested in being diet buddies! It's really awesome that we have so much in common! Do you have WhatsApp? I'm pretty particular about my personal number, even some family members don't have it. But I have whatsapp and i think it would be perfect for keeping in touch!
