Looking for a good SUNSCREEN

I'm a 22 year old male and I never really used sunscreen but I want to start using it to protect from the sun before I get a lot of sun damage.

I need a brand that isn't irratant for somewhat acne prone skin. I havn't had acne in years but I get a few pimples once and a while. Also, I would like something that doesn't leave the white residue and is fairly unnoticable. Above all it must be effective against uva/uvb rays and please no fragrances or harmful chemicals.

Thanks for the advice.

I hear blue lizard sunscreen is pretty good has anyone tried?

I like Bullfrog, especially their gel sunscreen (instead of lotion/cream)

I also buy coppertone sport, especially the sport 'stick'...which looks like a glue stick, but is really thick...great for the face, ears, etc. I put it on my tattoos to protect them in addition to a base coat of spf 30+ (I'm a pastey white guy that burns easy).

if I may throw in here: a good spray on recomendation would help me. I am swimming open water in the evenings and getting a deep burn...

Currently I am using an spf50 baby spray,,, but it doesn't seem to handle the ocean water...

there's an spf 50 or 55 one from neutrogena that feels light on the skin and is pretty damn effective. i get it from the local costco and it works the best for me

actually, i just remembered hearing about some new sunblockers that Europe has been using a while, that the FDA finally approved. probably won't see them til next year, but they're supposed to be more durable to sweat and water.

The only spray-on's I've seen were thin and almost instantly washed off in water.
the Gel stuff by Bullfrog was much thicker.
