Long-Term conditioning

Ive been known to have heart problems in my family , granpa died at 64 , dads in bad shape etc, but im not gonna sit and moap.

Im looking to know if im "breaking the cycle" right.
I joined the track team and in my weight lifting class , I actively participate.
before all this I had a steady routine(weights mainly and finish with 2 miles) for quite some time and I seen extremely good results . Where im getting at is I want to know if what im doing will pro-long my heart health.Ive never had any real health concerns(athletic wise), but if you seen me around the forum you would know im diabetic , but i dont suffer from diabetes...and i have thyroid problems.

Thanks , please reply.

i'm sure what you are doing could'nt hurt! exercise is crucial for creating and maintaing a healthy body. if you combine exercise with a healthy diet of nutritious foods rich in vitamins and antioxidants, there is no reason to believe that it would'nt be benificial to you. good for you for taking the initiative to do something about the "cycle"!
