Sorry if there is a topic like this already. I just wanted to get a list of what other people are eating. Here's mine:


1. nuts (almonds, peacans)

2. veggies (salads, dinner options)

3. fruits (snacks)

4. greek yogurt

5. protein bars

6. multi grain chereos cereal

7. boiled eggs

8. italian light dressing

9. Baked chicken (in moderation)

10. Backed Boneless Pork Chops (in moderation)
 
AHi there! I love the thread!!! Sometimes I feel I just forget about foods that are great for my health and my body:) here is my list:
Quinoa
Buckwheat
Oatmeal
Muesli with almond milk
Raw nuts and seeds
Prunes (I substitute candies with prunes:))
Yeast free rye bread
Almond butter
From fruits-mostly apples and bananas
From veggies:mostly tomatoes with spinach
Plain yogurt
Kefir
Chicken
Eggs
Turkey
This is the "diet" I am trying to stick to. I have probably forgotten something... Sometimes I really crave ice-cream or chocolate! I forgot to mention-lots of tea!
 
I can understand wanting some ice cream every now and then. There has to be a suitable fat free ice cream out there that you could have 1 serving of once a week? Has anyone else investigated this?
 
AYes-I have a sweet tooth:) but when I do have an ice-cream I don't go for fat free:) if there is no fat then there too much of something that is substituting it-like starch. I like hagen das-there no artificial flavores or other additives that are not good for the body
 
Yea. That's one of the reasons I switched to greek yogurt rather than yoplait light, even though it tastes better lol. I was recommended by my doctor to switch from regular coke to coke zero, but I think I should leave it out all together.
 
AI support you with the decision about Coke. I am suprised that a doc would give an advice like that. I was toldby my naturopathic doctor that diet Coke is much worse for our health than regular one, because it contains aspartame which is basically like poison:((( it is really bad for our bodies.
