LighterLife Program

Dunno if this is just a English thing or if it has gone abroad yet.. anyways.. thought i would show you guys what program i am doing in an attempt to loose the weight i have managed to gain through university.

is the website.. Its a food replacement program where they give you these shakes, soups and in the second week you get food bars. your only allowed to have three of these a day and can pick and choose between shakes etc. You also have to drink 4litres of water minimum each day (which in the beginning i found really hard... was running to the loo constantly!) In the second week you get water sweetner, to make it taste a little better. Erm.. im allowed black coffee with tablet sweetner.. no sugar at all. Leaf teas like pepermint and normal tea, as long as i have it with no milk.

All and all it is incredibly restrictive.. Ive only been on the program for a week and 3days but am finding it quite hard. Its just the fact that i cant eat anything except what they give me.. finding myself craving for things i wouldnt normally.. like carrots.. or fruit. Even wanted a rice cake a few days ago..

However hard it is though, the results are nice. I lost 7lbs in the first week! :D Excited to see how much i loose this week.. they estimate you loose around 3lb-5lbs every week after the first week. Hopefully i will loose 5 or more per week!

hmm.. one of the things that I don't like about diets like that is that 1) they are so restrictive and hard to stick with, and 2) once you go back to eating regular food - you gain all the weight back... I wish you the best of luck though sweetie! I hope that it works for you!!!

I will agree with you on the too restricitve part.. it's kinda hell... but im trying to busy myself with other things like uni work at the moment, in an attempt to stop thinking about what i cant have.

There is a mangment stage once you have got to your target weight where your re-introduced to food slowly. I dont know if im going to go on it for too long. I pretty much know now what is healthy and what is not.. Plus i can see where i was going wrong. Only problem with it is its a little expensive.. but hell.. if its getting rid of my weight.. i dont care. :)
