I chew on average 3-5 pieces of gum per day, it has apartame in it... but no sugar.

Stride is my favorite.

I wanna know what everyone thinks about chewing gum and aspartame?

Good, bad, what side effects, etc.
 
No "sugar", but still sugar. ~ 5 calories from carbs per piece. This is why you are fat, it all makes sense now!

Drink smooth sugar-free orange metamucil instead. It tastes like Kool-Aid. :D Plus if you make it with ice cold water + ice, it's "negative calories". :beerchug: Also, fibre. I recommend two rounded teaspoons in 1.5 cups water with 6 ice cubes.

Also, I avoid everything with anything even vaguely related to soy in it. So I wouldn't touch Stride with a borrowed pole.

I chew a ton of gum. It keeps my mouth busy, and at times helps me from overeating. And the way i figure it, if you chew the gum long enough you burn off the calories from the gum itself. Nothing scientific, I just really enjoy gum. Stride is delicious.
 
I chew gum almost constantly since I quit smoking. I go for Wrigleys Extra Ice. Its about 2 calories a piece and I probably get through between 10 and 20 every day.
