leg numbnesss and cramps

hi,

I have started running 1.5 months back and do a 10k run 3times a week. However, recently i start experincing leg numbness (tingling) and leg cramps (calfs) after execise, especially late at night.

Is it possible that it's vitamin deficency?

Are you stretching and drinking enough water? Those would be my first thoughts. If those are still good, then I guess it could be a vitamin deficency. Make sure you are getting enough of everything and maybe add in a multi vitamin if you are not already taking one.
 
Potassium deficiency can cause cramps, so get some bananas down you and make sure you stretch before and after exercise.

You also mention numbness; this can be caused by different factors, depending where abouts exactly the numbness is. Is it actually numb (decreased sensation to touch) or is it more of a pins&needles feeling? By "where abouts exactly", I mean is it......
- below/above the knee?
- on the outside/inside/front/back of the leg/foot?
- over a specific patch of skin?
etc.
