I haven't exercised in a year, and then all of a sudden I decided to start exercising. First week I walked/jogged 2 miles a day for 3 days a week. 2nd week did 4 days, plus another mile on a tread mill after work for a couple days during those weeks. Now my left leg, calf, upperthigh, glute (left), are really sore. It's more than sore, when I stand up and take a few steps. I feel like I'm going to fall over and after I start walking it becomes more tolerable.
I have stopped cardio to see if this would go away. It's been like this for almost 2 weeks and it bothers me after I've been sitting down for a while and then I stand up and start walking, if I move around in my sleep. It's hard for me to just put on my pants.
What could this be? I guess it's on my left leg since I probably have bad posture when I run, but I don't feel anything on my right leg. When I exercised I didn't run fast, it was mostly a walk/jog, I'd try to run for about 30 seconds-1minute then stop. I get tired easily. It takes me about 45 min for 2 miles. If I start jogging or running to exercise it doesn't bother me anymore until I stop. I took some Tylenol a couple days ago, twice a day and it didn't help. should I continue this?
Thanks
