For those of you who don't know, a Marshall University student was killed last week (Leah Hickman) and found dead in the basement of her apartment- which was about two streets away from the campus. The Huntington police department as of now to my knowledge have no suspects and don't know whether Leah's killer knew her or not. I'm currently a student at Marshall and I'm very scared of going back to school right now, so please keep Leah's family and the Marshall University community and Huntington, WV in your hearts, minds and prayers. I didn't know Leah personally but I do believe I did see her on campus once, and the week that they were looking for her, many different groups and Facebook popped up pleading for people to look for her.
