I manage a small business. I'd like to pick up some literature on leadership styles or similar topics. Would anyone care to recommend some books I could check out? Thank you!
 
7 habits of highly effective people would be a good one. By Steven Covey.
 
Ah, yes, I've been told that is one of the "must have" books for people looking to read up on leadership styles and perspectives. Anything in particular that you feel you pulled away from that material, just wondering. thanks!
 
Personally, it seemed like a lot of common sense to me. However, it would seem common sense is not so common. I recommend it because of the positive influence I have seen in others who have read it. It was quite popular in my psych class.
 
Thanks for your insight. Have you happened to read Corporate Canaries? It's somewhat similar to 7 Habits and I would definitely recommend it to anyone in a leadership role.
