Laundry problem...

I have to do my own! :ironing: Any suggestions?

But seriously, I have a nice adidas "work out" shirt and no matter what I do, it seems to magnify my underarm BO. I just washed this shirt last night, showered and used deodorant and although it's not eminating off my body, I can smell it a little and if I lean in close to my shoulder/pit area, I smell it more.

Any suggestions? I recently had to change from using old spice deo. because I ended up getting a sore red spot in my underarms. I've been using toms natural stuff now for a few weeks and it really only seems to happen in this shirt and one other shirt I have, a ribbed DKNY dress shirt.

Just getting a little annoyed and wondering if maybe I'm not washing them right and it just doesn't come completely out when I wash. I dunno. Please help. lol......

do you wash everything in Cold water?

First, wash those clothes separate from all other clothes. You don't want your other stuff smelling like onions...LOL..

I have heard that you should wash in the warmest water as possible and add baking soda to the load. Google search has some interesting responses too. I for one would ask my mother...she could get anything out of clothes, stains or smells.

Good luck. My clothes don't hold the BO smell, but they hold the beautiful YELLOW color. I love getting a clean shirt out and the pits are nice and golden colored :(

Little late, but lemme clarify. I don't keep anything in my gym bag, haven't used it in almost two years. I wear these shirts mainly for work, but one of them I will wear occasionally. Was just mentioning the style of the Adidas shirt.

As far as washing, everything gets washed in cold water, perk of living under my parents roof. Money's tight for my parents and with the cost a fuel oil on the rise, they've made it clear. I can prolly sneak it, but the last time I forgot to reset it to cold and got caught. lol.

Any of those nylon or accrylic workout shirts will always be that way. They always tend to give off BO.

Ugh that sucks so bad, that shirt is so damn comfortable.... Oh well. I'll just have to spray the pits of the shirt with cologne. :action12:

ROFL!
