Hey everybody, new to the forums.

For the past several months I have been losing weight, and I have went from 220 to 202. I'm 6'3" and have been lifting weights on and off for several years before deciding I'd like to have a leaner physic.

Anyway I've been going no carb and eating approx. 1800 cals a day. I am a student and only work 2 times a week. So pretty much everyday I go to the gym once in the morning and play basketball for about half an hour then ab exercises for another half. I return to the gym in the evening and do about 70 mins of cardio (half on oliptical and half on bike.)

I'm beginning to think I am eating too few carbs and calories? I can see my abs for the first time in my life, but have been at a stand still with 202 lbs for about 2 weeks now.

What do you experts out there think?

Two weeks is nothing to get worried about. No need to change a thing. I believe you could eat a few more calories if you wanted to.

And how about the carbohydrates? Im starting to learn that too little and your body will hold onto it's fat?

I forgot to mention I'm 20 and I lift weights 3 times a week.

I have no personal experience with low carbohydrate diets. However, I do know that when you go on a low carb diet, you will lose a lot of water weight, so presumably when you start eating carbs again you will put the water back on. Personally, I think it's probably better to eat some carbs, but if you do, don't be surprised if there is some water weight gain at first.
