Last One Standing

Sick show. definitley check it out on Discovery channel

I think its about 6 athletes who go around the world competing in different warrior sports. Like first episode was in Brazil learning Kalapalo wrestling and fighting. 2nd one is gonna be stick fighting somewhere else I think. One of the things they were forced to do in 1st one before they could wrestle in the main competition with rival tribes, they had to be cut with pirahna teeth all over their legs, then have salt and chilli rubbed on them. Pure pain =]

athletes are from different types like i think they are -rugby, BMX, kickboxing, fitness, 'strongman', and endurance

yeah great programme seen it a few times think its called last man standing though:)

I saw the first episode of this. In America I think the name is Last One Standing. Maybe somewhere else, it's Last Man. As for my thoughts...I thought I could do better than those guys did at Kalapalo wrestling. I mean, the rules were easy enough...just shoot and you win.

Zulu stick fighting looks BRUTAL though. Holy ****.

Don't know, check your local listings. They come on Thursdays for me, at 10.

Anyone see the zulu stick fighting? It was pretty cool, except some of the guys on that show are official pussies. Especially Richard, the "British Gentleman"...he's such a little girl. How the hell did he get on the show? Watching the zulu stick fighting got me pumped-- I know it's easy to sit back and say "I can do that"...but I'd like to try. I know I'd do much better than Richard, that's for sure.

Next week it looks like they're all in the Andes mountains running with a bunch of Peruvians for endurance at high altitudes...**** THAT. I'm sure I'd pass out and puke my heart after running for half an hour.

This week's ep was okay. The competition was STUPID, but the fact that some of the athletes did what they did was pretty cool, like strongman Brad beating out the endurance guy, Corey.

How the hell did this guy get on the show? Not only did he not do well in this challenge, but he came in last place. He wasn't the last man standing, he was the first man down...and this was his sport! Yeah I could see how he could suck at wrestling or stick fighting, but when it was his time to step up and show what he was about he just gave up, citing injuries...Well yeah, he has a medical condition (shin splints)...so why is he on the show to begin with?

What was the challenge.
