Ive actually been wanting to get a lip piercing for a couple years now and never got around to doing it. What do you think about piercings on guys?

I have no other piercings but these have always seemed cool to me.

Thoughts?
 
Go for it! If you end up not liking it you can take it out.
 
I'm a guy and I have a pierced lip and my response from women has been mixed so much so where I would think it's on the same level as a women's preference for, say, dark hair, or blue eyes. Even though I'm a lil chubby I'm good looking so I've had the luck of dating some mind boggling attractive girls and a good number of them never seemed to mind enough to ask me to remove it.

I've had mine for about 2 and a half years, but its a fairly small ring, I'd take a guess and say the internal diameter is a centimeter so it's not very invasive to my look, just kind of a nice touch.

I personally don't like the peircings on the face, but I have a bunch of friends who love them. If you want it, go for it! :D
 
For me, it depends on your personal look. I think David Draiman of Disturbed is one of the hottest things around, but I have also seen some facial piercings that I don't really like.

I have seen some guys get navel piercings, and I think those are somewhat feminine, but nipple rings on guys that aren't too big (on either spectrum of overweight/muscular) are H-O-T! yummy yummy

I have tried to convince my poor husband to get one so I could play with it, but he won't. :(
 
it's definitely an age thing with me - piercings do not do a thing for me - I don't get why someone would want to mar their body - it's not individuality because everyone and their brother has one - so I just don't get it.

I don't even like pierced ears on men..
 
I told my husband last night when I get thin enough & have a flat enough belly, that I wanted to get my navel re-pierced. I loved it when it was done, and took the ring out because I felt I was too fat to have one. I hate that I did now.

now it looks cool and all - but wouldn't that seriously hurt? and why would you want to inflict that kind of hurt?
 
I personally don't like body piercings.. like lips..and eye brows.. and other body parts.. But I found it very sexy when my gf had her belly button pierced.. But she says she gained too much weight (she says) but when she gets smaller again.. she will have it pierced.. I also like many earings in the ear.. find it very sexy..:rolleyes:

Yeah I know, my step-brother has one. I have never and never want to see it. I mean what if it got caught on the tissue and ripped it etc? OUCH! He also has or has had multiple piercings elsewhere and has about 50 tattoos.
 
welp~ I'd hold off and wait to see if you REALLY want to do this first~ yanno?

But I think lip piercings are hot. Go for it if it's what you want~ =p
 
I personally think that piercings can be very sexy. I don't like it when people have several piercings though. If you want it then go for it! I am going to get my belly button pierced when I reach my goal. I know how you feel though. I have wanted a tattoo forever and everyone says go for it, but I still can't bring myself to actually go do it, lol
 
Such things are a matter for individual choice. Not mine though!

He will have made up his mind some time back. This thread has been dead for 2.5 years.
