L-Glutamine for hard-gaining?

Hey all,

I am strictly a hard gainer with a high matabolism. My diet of constantly eating nutritious foods to add massive calories seems to be working alright.

As for supplments, I do a protein bar prior workout (approx 20g protein) and a protein shake w/ two scoops plus skim milk (approx 56g protein) both after workout and before bed.

I also have been taking L-Glutamine by drinking it in water while I am at my desk at work during the day (only approx 4.5g). I have recently read that L-Glutamine is more for the cutting phase. Should I stop taking it and wait for my cutting phase? Or is taking now okay but a waste of money? Or is there some other method I should be using to take it?

Any advice is welcomed...

I think you are wasting your money, take it out. I think you'd be better off without, or possibly 5g grams of creatine post workout instead...and a ton of water throughout the day.
 
i'd use it up and then quit taking it. waste of cash. its not absorbed like the vendors claim. if you have intestinal problems, it could help that, but if it did your doctor would've told you that by now.
