kre-alkalyn help

Hello everyone, I am new to creatine supplements, and have recently purchased one kre-alkalyn bottle. However I am not exactly certain how to take it. I've been told to take 2 pills pre and 2 pills post workout. My main question is when to take it on rest days? Also I am planning to take only one bottle of kre-alkalyn (about a month) and then take a break. How long of a break should I take? Or should I start another bottle right after I finish the first? How long should I take it so I can see some decent results? I hope I get concrete answers as soon as possible. Thanks.
 
Is Kre-alkalyn just a straight creatine supplement, or is there anything else in it?

As a rule of thumb, creatine is suggested to be taken in a loading phase, maintenance phase, and then rest phase. The loading phase should be about 3-5 days of taking about 20g and then a maintenance phase of about 3-5g/day for several weeks, followed by reasonable amount of time taking a break off it. If you were told to take more than that, then my guess is that it was a sales rep who's trying to get more money out of you.

Creatine is a long-term supplement and its effects are seen as you maintain the levels of it in your muscle overtime. As such, it doesn't matter one bit what time of day you take it at or whether you take it before or after working out.

I prefer Creatine MagnaPower. It's buffered by the magnesium plus magnesium in required to produce ATP, the energy molecule and helps reduce muscle cramping. Hope this helps.
