KRE-Akaline

Can anybody tell me about Kre-akaline. I started taking it about 4-6 months ago and within three weeks of taking it I instantly got compliments on my size increases and my strength went through the roof. The only problem with this is that I also just started seriously lifting in that time frame, so I'm not sure if it was the creatine helping me or if it was just me getting "caught up" so to speak. For anybody not familiar with this creatine is supposed to be alkilized so that it bypasses your liver (much like tylenol) and is souly processed by and in the blood at your muscles.

well, 3 weeks of training, even for a beginner, would not typically give any noticable visible change. it sounds like the kre-alkaline was delivering creatine to the muscles, and they increased water storage in the muscle fibers...and this IS something many people say they notice.

You might wanna google for some reviews on it. if you find relatively few complaints, then I'd say it's a decent creatine supp. Most are...some are better, and a few out there are total wastes of money.

thanks bud I appreciate it, that pretty much answers my question because I origanally did a google search and couldn't find a bad thing about it anywhere, so thats why I turned to this forum.... still anybody has any personal experence I would love to hear about it, just to see if I should keep recomending it to my friends (I'd hate to recommend crap). Thanks again I appreciate the feedback.

This might be a stupid question but you are talking about "Kre-Alkalyn", right?
What kind are you taking?

Yeah that's how you spell it (not so good in that department). I'm taking the name brand of kre-alkalyn... you know the one that was created by some body builder turned scientist, blah, blah, blah. Anyways if you have anymore questions about the kind the web site is . Thanks for any help you can give.

I take kre-alkalyn from Sport-Specific Sciences. Their website is I've been taking mine mixed w Animal Nitro G from Universal during and post-workout and have good results.

These are the same stuff, right?

Has the same patten # ..and is cheaper :)
Is pill or powder more effective?

Sport-Specific is one of my favorite brands, hands down :)

Some people are saying that it's a waste of money, but i disagree. If the people are actually right when they say 2 tablets of kre-alkalyn is equal to 10 grams of regular creatine monohydrate, then you'd only need to take 1 tablet a day, right? And a bottle with 120 tablets costs you 30 bucks, which lasts you for about 120 days if you take one tab a day. Other creatine, liek the one i bought way back when, was 30 bucks for 180 tablets, and the serving 6 tablets contained only 5 grams of creatine monohydrate. So if i took 6 pills a day, that would last me only 30 days. So really, by buying kre-alkalyn i should be getting at least 4 times as much creatine for the same amount of money, right?

Yeah, I think some of the benefits of Kre-Alkalyn are supposed to be:
- No loading (people are saying not to load creatine nowadays though)
- No indigestion
- No dehydration
- No destruction of the creatine in the stomach

none of these newer advanced creatines are that much better than plain old monohdyrate. that article says what i've been screaming about all this year. everything from loading to cycling to CEE to creatine serum to creatine preworkout. i've covered all that myself on many boards.

nice to see someone else supporting the truth. :)

the above website is great and everything but it doesn't hold really any direct info on what I'm taking except that it might or might not actually work. I think i'll stick with it because it doesn't hurt my stomace like cell tech and some other stuff.

more or less they don't feel there's legit evidence that Kre-alkalyn is any better than traditional creatine monohydrate, that's all.

i've never bought fancy creatine either, though I was contemplating CEE.
The nice thing is that all these new creatines are making monohydrate cheaper, and we KNOW that works for 99.9% of the population :)

whether it's better or not, if 1 pill is really equal to 5 grams of creatine, then you only need to take 1-2 pills a day. and if you get the bottle with 120 tablets, then that should last you 60 to 120 days. and it only costs like 20 bucks. so in the long run it really is better, because it's cheaper and lasts longer.

Yeah Im new to the Supplement field but im starting the expirement with Krealkalyn. The guy and the nutrition story was gun hoe over it. He gave me a big discount on it, and I used Biggies thinking as well. Its concentrated, so the bottle should last a while.

Did you listen to what you're saying? 1 pill equals 5g (technically according to Kre-alkalyn's marketing info, 1gram = 10g of Creatine monohydrate. one pill is 750mg, and a serving is 2 pills, so 1.5grams...the equivalent of 15g of monohydrate).

The problem is, every piece of scientific research (not marketing bull****) clearly states that 5g of monohydrate is ALL YOU NEED per day...in one serving. Yes you can take extra intially ot load up sooner, but 3 weeks of 5g daily doses will get you saturated too, for less money.

So, in order for kre-alkalyn to work, you have to take 3x the equivalent monohydrate dose...and the stuff costs about 3x as much.

I have house payments, motorcycle payments, and other fun hobbies to invest my money in. Until there is at least one scientific study on kre-alkalyn that proves it's actually more effective than monohydrate, you'll never see me buy it or recommend it. Ditto for Creatine Ethyl Ester...no studies that show its any more effective or better absorbed than monohydrate. and monohydrate is always cheaper, even at GNC.
