Sport Know of any good protein bars w/out soy?

Sport Fitness
I'm eliminating all soy from my diet, so this means that a few bars I used to enjoy from time to time are no longer an option. I wanted to know if anyone knew of a GOOD protein bar that does not have any soy in it? Other things I don't want it to have is sugar alcohol, crap ingredients (hfcs, ph oils, etc.), and aspartame. Is there anything out there?

Go get a certified organic Protein bar. It will be void of most all harmful ingredients (because most all Harmful ingredients are man made). Though soy is really popular right now, so make sure to read all of the brands and flavors labels.

Next time im at WholeFoods ill take a look at the protein bars, and if i see anything that you might like ill let you in on the brand and such.

Sounds good. It's so hard to find a bar without soy. I don't even really care about taste. Just want something that's low in fat and not detrimental to my health.

if you have the time to make them yourself I highly recommend that. There are some recipes for them in the recipe section under Muscle building foods I think is the title. I also have tons on stock.

If you must buy one I highly recommend this one...

It doesn't get any better than this in taste and cleanness.

Theleip - I usually make my own bars but sometimes I get in a bind and need to grab something quick out of the cabinet (used to be cliff bars :() and if I don't have any bars made I'm screwed! The bars you suggested look great! The fruit and whey content of them is more what I'm looking for.

Mayhem - Sugar Alchol (sorbitol, mannitol, can't think of other names right now) is a carbohydrate but it only has 2 calories per gram. It's an artifical sweetner used in many gums, candies, and energy bars. My problem with it is that it makes me feel bloated as hell!
