my previous post https://weight-loss.fitness.com/threads/advice-stuck.106580/#post-1041396

currently im at 107 kilo ( fluctuate between 107-109 )

its my end of 3rd month officially

and i have a problem now, I realize starting since 2 weeks ago my left knee will hurt everytime i do a stand up ( knee, kicking, lunges, basicly anything that requires me to bend and put a stress on it )

so i decide to take a week rest, the but the pain is still there

it doesn't hurt when i walk or stand its just hurt when i have to do the workout, and resting turns out making it somehow worse ???? i took like 3 day full rest no workout but my knee end up like stiff ( its like if i bend it in a workout stance will make pop sound ) putting light pressure ( light exercise ) make it better ( however i cant do the lunges or kicking one ) but full resting somehow make it worse

can someone explain what it is ? and what is the correct way to deal with it since full resting somehow make it more painful than doing the light exercise, but im afraid if im wrong i will make it worse

p.s sorry for bad english

The knee is a complex part of the body, for injuries you need to see a doctor for a proper diagnosis, Getting opinions from random unqualified people online puts you at risk of making the injury worse and those who are qualified will not diagnose through a public forum.

I agree with Trusylver here. Unfortunately, injuries happen with fit and newly-fit people alike. Sometimes, it's a matter of "too much, too soon," but you want to get this checked out in person to know if there is something else going on. There is really no way to diagnose injuries without a physical assessment.

Also, no reason to apologize for your English!

Yes, I spent 20 years in division I college athletics and I can tell you that there’s a huge difference between “pain” and “injury”... and the only way to be certain that you’re not injured and not at risk of doing further damage to yourself is to get it checked by a medical professional. Could be an issue that will resolve with rest, or with proper pre-workout stretching... or there might be something more serious causing what you’re feeling. Either way, the peace of mind you receive by finding the truth and getting a medical solution is so much better than worrying about it!
Good luck!!

Hey M, your English is fine, easy to understand.

You got a lot of good advice here, all I will add is that no matter what's wrong with your knee losing weight will help!
