Kettler Mondeo vs Smooth CE3.2 Ellipticals

Hi there,
I am looking for an elliptical and both of the above units are in my price range. roughly 1800.00 CDN
I have actually tried the kettler and do like the feel, but now I am confused as the reviews and ratings are extremley good on the smooth, which obviously I am unable to try...Does anyone own a smooth? thoughts?
I am female about 5'4"...Hopefully you out there can shed some light in what direction to head?
Really like the weight and stability...
HELP!! LOL
Thanks!

$1800 canadian is about 1500 US. There are much nicer ellipticals for that kind of money here. Are your prices higher than ours on exercise equipment? By the way, Kettler makes Smooth.

i didn't think kettler still made the smooth, from what i have read anyway...so what would you recommend in the 1500.00 USD price range?

My two top choices would be:

You can normally find them for $1599 in the US.

Also around $1600 if you beat up the retailer.

Both of these are commercial quality imo. They don't have all the electronics as some of the others, but are as smooth, sturdy and durable as anything on the market. If you want the electronics, get a nice polar heart rate monitor along with the elliptical.

well the lowest priced sportsart is the E803 and it is 2350.00 CDN and the lowest priced life fitness is the X1 which is 2750.00 CDN and then they go up from there....Only two places locally that sell the product, price is similar at each...
:(

The smooth has received good reviews but I have read a few good reviews of the kettler as well. The kettler looks pretty solid and I think it has a warranty covering 3 years on parts and 1 year labor which is pretty good.
