Hey guys/ girls,
So the point of this thread is to see if kettlebells are, firstly: a good way to build muscle and secondly if they would be a good idea for me in my present state. The reasons I say present state is because I have been 'injured' for around 2 months now. Normally I am very fit, one of the fittest in my year at school but since I had a testicular torsion I've been unable to train and so ive lost a fair bit of form - also before this I had a nasty strain of flu and was out for around 5 months also (been a fun year ). In the past two weeks I've started bodyweight exercises (push ups and the like) and I have gained some fitness back but obviously not a lot over two weeks.
So my question is would kettlebells be a good idea? and what weights would you roughly suggest? I was thinking maybe starting off quite light with 4kg-8kg to get my form perfect and then move up to larger weights when my form is perfect.
Thank you for any replies
