HI guys, I have read A LOT about ketosis and all, but I wanted to know.....is that a real thing? Does your body really start eating muscle before it eats fat when there are no carbs left?
And so I am to believe that if I eat protein that my body will use that protein intake instead of eating my muscle and thereby thinking nothing is wrong and burn the fat off my belly.....
is this true? And for how long does this last? I mean your metabolism figures out that your starving and will only burn what you eat eventually for maitenance. So does your body figure ketosis out eventually and stop burning fat?
I mean, because seriously, I would just stay in ketosis for 5 months and lose all the fat I need, but from experience and research nothing is ever just that easy.
Thanks.
