Today I am starting over again. My second time around. I lost at first with the Cohen's diet but after about a week and an half I started to deviate. All my friends and family are slim except for me. I started sabotaging myself  and than totally went of the band wagon.
We (my husband, and two kids ages 5 and 3.5) went away during march break and we had a great time down south, but I didn't follow the diet at all, I thought I was doing good and ate a few more salads than before, but piged out on Carb...... I love Bread :( but it packs the weight on me so fast.
One of my biggest faults is that I am also a steady drinker of Diet Pepsi.
This time around I have decided that I am not going to have any Diet Coke until I have lost at least 10 lbs.
I have about 80 pounds to loose.

Goal 1 is to loose 10 lbs. ----- get to drink 1 can of Diet Pepsi

Goal 2 is to get to reach 195 lbs ----- get to drink another can of Diet Pepsi
( I am such a looser -with my goals, but this is going to be sooooo hard for me.)

Goal 3 is to reach 190 lbs - go to the movies with some friends.

Goal 4 to reach 185 lbs - (do a happy Dance) get a pedicure.

When I get close to the end of these goals I will set new goals to until i reach my desirable weight of 130 lbs (cohen's recommended weight)..... I have never been that low since i was in 7th grade. I am now 31 going on 32, so that was a long time ago! :p

Our 10 year university reunion is this summer and I want to look good. I will also be celebrating our 7 year anniversary in July. I was around 170lb when we got married, I would like to fit back into my size 14 wedding dress by than.

Happy loosing!!! :) :) :) :) :) :)

Hi Kelly,

Congrats on coming back on board, and good luck with your future weight loss. I think it's great that you've set regular goals for yourself-- gotta have an incentive. Yes, weight loss is incentive in itself, but sometimes life kicks in and you lose sight of that. I think your goals are awesome.

I'm the same age as you and we have around the same goal weight. We can do this!!!!

Best of luck,

day 3

Hi everyone, it didn't get a chance to post yesterday. Busy here at work. I try and sneek a peek at the board during the day, but I than get reading and the day just seems to fly by.
I am down 3 pounds since starting on Monday. I have found that I like to go for a walk at night. It seems to clear my mind and I am also getting my puppies out for a walk even if it is at 8:30 pm. :cool:This is after I have gotten my children ( a 5 and 3.5 year old) and oh yeh the other child (LOL) my husband fed, and cleaned up and bath the kids and put them to bed.... I am tired, But I made myself go last night and I felt great! It was cold when I left and I was debaiting about going - but it was my time and I didn't work myself too hard, just a regular pace.
I was so proud of myself yesterday. I was invited to lunch with a friend and we went to a really nice restaurant and it was her birthday and anniversary. I ordered a side salad (cause I knew it was the smallest portion I could get) with no salad dressing!!!! I also order chicken on top but asked to cut the amount in half - which they did. I stuck to the water - no pop until I have lost 10 pounds. There were fresh biscuits on the table and I didn't even get temped...... before I would have eaten 2 of them. Since it was her birthday, she ordered bread pudding for desert. I watched her eat it - Suprisingly I was full. I still can't believe I didn't cheat. :D
Today is DAY 3 of my new body!!!!! I can't wait until I can see the 100's again!:p

Has anyone heard of Sytropin HGH oral spray?

Thanks for coming to see my post. I will be more regular!

Keep me posted on your results too. I will be reading the other posts too.

Reality!

How are things going Annie? We have about the same amount to loose.... mybe you can help keep me motivated.:)

I have my 10 year University reunion this year.... I can not believe it has been 10 years.... Gee I a am on only 31..... I also turn 32 in August and would love to be down a chunk of weight by than.

it was funny I was lifting my 5 year old boy, Isaac, and he weights 47.5 lbs. I thought he was really heavy.... but than began to think that I was carrying around about twice that weight of fat on my body..... OH MY GOD.. reality set in!!!!!!! My daugther is 27 lbs, so if I combined them together I would still need I would still need to loose another 10 lbs to be at my goal weight. OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!

The lowest that I can remember being was 136. in 2nd year university -BUT I was taking laxatives and only eating 3 bananas a day.... plus running about 3 miles a day...... so you can see I wasn't nice to my body!

I am going to do this the right way the Cohen's way!:D

Happy losing!

Finish Line

I mentioned earlier that I set goals for my weight loss, but I forgot to mention the biggest goal when I reach 130. I am going to get a breast lift. :D:D:D:D:D:D I have always been big on the top... Currently I am a 40D and have been usually a 36C before having kids, but you know what happens when you get older, so I am going to get a lift and maybe don't have to feel so self conscience about my breasts. I don't like to NOT wear a bra.... I sometimes even wear one to bed. Silly I know.

I can't wait until I can lie on my side and not have my belly follow me. HAHA. I want all that FAT to be gone!!!!!:)

Happy Losing!

Day 3 Done!

Well today I am down .5 of a pound! So after 3 days I am down 3.5 pounds. Not as much as I had hoped, but it's better than gaining! :D

Last night I attended a retirement party for my FIL (father-in-law). I was hungry, everyone was eating Chicken cordon blue with baked potatoes, green beans, yellow beans and carrots, plus rolls and for desert a rasberry and vanilla cake with icing.... oh it looked good, but you know what - I had ordered a salad and it came with dressing on the side, but I put that away and just added pepper. I didn't eat anything but the salad and I was so proud of myself for not deviating. I only lost .5 lbs yesterday, but I didn't go for my walk last night so maybe that could be why. I always have to incorporate walking or something when I diet.... it seems to be the only way for me to loose.

This morning I stepped on my scales that also does your body fat percentage and water. Well the scales there said I was 209.2 but my other scales that usually use said 208.5 so I am going to use that ! Well my body fat percentage was 46% :(and my water was 33% so I guess that leaves 21% for muscle and bones and what ever stuff is in there! OH boy I really need to loose that fat!!!!

Talk to you later,
Kelly

day 4 done

I cheated yesterday and had a spoonful of peanut butter..... I should kick myself!!!!!
I was down another.5 lbs today. Maybe it would have been more if i didn't eat the peanut butter!!!!!!!  :(

I am doing much better today. I WILL NOT CHEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I have about 2.5 litres of water into me just before lunch... I try to get at least 5 a day.

Still haven't had any pop....... I am so suprised at myself.... WHAT WILLPOWER, maybe that should flow over onto the peanutbutter!

later,

There is 95 calories in a tablespoon of peanut butter.

It'll take around 20 minutes of walking at 2.5mph at your weight to burn that much off.

Just think of it like that. Less walking for you to do!!

Good luck :)

Hey Kelly,

Good for you, starting walking. And I can definitely relate on the breast lift! I've already told hubby that I'm getting these babies tacked up as soon as I reach goal weight. That will be soooo great... being thin w/ boobs in the right place! That dream alone keeps me from cheating...

As for your peanut butter, don't beat yourself up. You can't uneat it!!! But, don't do it again! :)

Hi Kelly,
Firstly congrats on the weight loss so far 3.5 pounds in 3 days is fantastic!

I too want to look great for my birthday in August (21st) it's the big 40 so i want to look FAB at 40. Long way to go but I will get there, its easy really, all I have to do is follow this 100% and I can't go wrong. Everytime I think of deviating I tell myself " it's only food, it aint going anywhere, it's still going to be here when I am finished - I will enjoy it then (in moderation of course) and just stick to cohens food for now" it works, so far so good.
Write off the peanut butter and don't do it again !..hehe seriously though like I said peanut butter will be there when you're done, why jeopardise your hard work so far - enjoy it when you're finished...sounding very lecturous..must stop!
Boob lift when you reach goal now thats a great incentive.
Keep up the great work and have a great Cohens day.
