I would go for oats or something with fibre, but that's just me. Maybe you can post the rest of your diet and the big picture is clearer?

It probably has a lot of extra sugar and that sort of thing.

Honestly though, if the rest of your diet is fine, go ahead and have some. It's okay to eat every once in a while. Just mix it up. Perhaps eggs, oatmeal, or something else for breakfast would be ideal as well.

There are many other cereals out there. I've heard good stuff about grape nuts, wheat discs, go lean, etc. Try them all out and see which one you like best.

Nutritional information is here:

There are several varieties, but they all get about 30-40% of their carbohydrates from sugar, which is not a good thing (for comparison, 0-10% of carbohydrates from sugar is desirable, while 50% is typical of sugary cereals marketed to small children).

Fiber and protein are low (for the amount of calories in a serving) in comparison to unsweetened (or very low sugar) whole grain cereals (like oatmeal, shredded wheat (not frosted), oat Os, etc.), although better than the sugary cereals marketed to small children.
