Keeping energy up at work

I have a technical job and sit for 8-10 hours a day. I am so drained by the afternoon! I don't have the luxury of being able to move about as most of my work is done in front of a computer. I drink water throughout the day but that just doesn't cut it. Does anyone have suggestions for keeping my energy up?
 
I do the same thing. Try eating 6 "smaller" meals instead of 3. Make sure that you are getting good complex-Carbs and good fats.

Taking a brief break (should take about 10 minutes to complete) to do breathing exercises helps me. Try this 3 times a day:

1. Inhale slowly for a 7 second count;
2. Hold your breathe for a 28 second count;
3. Exhale slowly for a 14 second count.
* Repeat this process 10 times total. You will be surprised what oxygen does for you!
