Hey everyone,
So here's the skinny, no pun intended...lol I gained about 60 lbs about five years or so and have been battling with it. It's hurting my career in the music and TV biz. Last year I lost 50lbs in about 10 months and gained it back in about 10 weeks. Very depressing. But better days are here. I started back on the journey a few months ago and lost 35lbs. I've done a real life change, addressing my eating disorder for the first time.
Here's a link to my progress:
Up to date weigh ins:
2/4 Sat 232.5 (Day 1)
2/11 Sat 223.5
2/19 Sat 226.8 (beginning to slip)
2/24 Fri 223.7 (tryin' to get it together)
3/4 Sat 223.1 (holding on)
3/9 Thurs 222.1 (after this weigh in I gave up for a few weeks)
3/22 Wed 225.6 (joined overeaters anonymous, now things start to roll!)
3/24 Fri 221.9
3/28 Tues 219.0
4/4 Tues 216.9
4/11 Tues 215.4
4/15 Sat 213.1
4/20 Thurs 212.5
4/24 Mon 211.0
5/1 Mon 210.8
5/3 Wed 209.4
5/4 Thurs 208.6
5/13 Sat 205.6
5/20 Sat 203.3
5/27 Sat 202.2 (30 pounds lost)
6/3 Sat 199.2 (under 200)
6/10 Sat 197.5
The basic game plan is:
- Small healthy meals that fit in the palm of my hands every 3 to 4 hours
- Drink ONLY water
- Kickbox 5 mornings a week / run stairs 1 morning a week
- Treadmill or bike 4 to 6 evenings a week - 30 to 40 minutes (no food after evening cardio)
- Take 1 day off a week from training
- 8 hours of sleep
Eating plan:
No binging, No eating between meals, No eating off other peoples plates, No seconds, No night eating
Foods I avoid:
Pizza, burgers, all fried foods, ice cream, cake, candy, sour cream, burritos, soda, coffee, chips, table bread
Foods I eat:
Chicken, turkey, lean steak, oatmeal, veggies, fruits, brown rice, whole wheat bread, raw peanut butter, beans, humus, nuts
Grey area foods
Cheese, pasta, white bread, pork, eggs
Things that I do:
Split my resterant meals in half and take home a doggy bag, I don't drink my calories - Juices are fattening, water ONLY!
I eat oatmeal every morning and eat a green apple everyday. I prey for strength when I'm hungry. I've committed to OA.
Suppliments:
Multi, fiber, flax seed oil, green tea, fat burner (no caffiene), raw adrenal
So that's it. I start shooting a TV pilot in about 4 weeks, so I'm under pressure to get shredded!
